Giving Thanks
This was going to be a long-winded post on Thanksgiving, what it means to be Greek-American on this holiday, and how adjusting to being gluten-free has been going (more on that later), but really, when I think about it, it all comes down to one thing: being thankful. Thankful for a holiday that I get to share with my family. Thankful that the family I’m surrounded by shares a rich culture. And thankful for my health and the health of family and friends. A Bouquet of Thanks
With the holidays just around the corner, family gatherings can sneak up on us whether we’re ready or not. Between work, school, or extracurricular activities, cooking or baking something for each event may not be an option. But, don’t worry! You don’t have to show up empty handed. Flowers are an easy, thoughtful gift to bring along to any Thanksgiving meal. Have more than one stop to make? Just buy a few bunches of flowers, arrange them together, add some ribbon and you’re all set!
