Words Find Us
I wrote back in December that it felt like part of me was on mute. I had so much to say, about so many things, that I didn’t know where to start.
Then one weekend, I decided to just go for it and create a second Instagram account where some of these thoughts, quotes, poems, and ideas could live. I think I was looking for a creative outlet that could also reach others and maybe brighten someone’s day or let them know they are not alone.
A lot of what I write there I pull from personal experiences, but some of it just comes to me and I feel like sharing it. There are positive posts, posts about heartache, motivational quotes, and poems. It’s pretty much whatever comes to mind, and I love that.
Writers will agree with me, we can typically tap into a previous emotion or memory to create a story or a poem. And it’s not necessarily representative of how we are currently feeling. So, while my hope is that this new creative outlet focuses on the positive, and shows others there is always a brighter tomorrow, there are hard lessons learned that I feel are important to share. We all have our own story, and we’re the only ones who can truly tell it.
Words always find us when we need them the most. Whether that’s words we read or words we write ourselves. I’m so glad my words found their way back to me. And now that they have, I can’t seem to stop–so follow along over on Instagram – Ms. Written In The Stars has a lot to say. And she’s just getting started.
P.S. I’ll still be posting recipes and updates here as well. This page isn’t going anywhere 🙂
